Tamara Squires is a master teacher, motivational speaker, author, personal trainer and professional choreographer celebrating 30 years of experience as an instructor. Tamara is the Executive Director of TAMJAMS! a touring professional dance/fitness convention that creates customized events to inspire kids & adults around the globe. Tamara started her career at age 12 on the TV show Kids Incorporated and has performed on The Academy Awards; Assistant Choreographer for Michael Jackson’s production of Sisterella European tour; worked on the film Dance To Win with Paula Abdul; The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson; and recently performed with the legendary Debbie Reynolds at the Nokia theater in Los Angeles for a crowd of 7,000.
Tamara is the creator of Elite Performance Training, Dancer’s Body® and FLiP: Start With Happy!® Transformation program, Dance Fit Crew for Kids, Profound Dance, Design Your Dance™ and Optimal 90® Fitness. Her programs utilize a balance of Positive Mindset, Optimal Fitness and Nutrition. Tamara regularly conducts motivational seminars, master classes and one-to-one intensives where she trains and inspires people to be Happy, Healthy and Fit for life! Tamara was recognized by Oprah’s OWN producers out of 15,000 auditions to be a semi-finalist for her Health and Wellness show idea for OWN. She has taught Health and Wellness at the University of Utah and Artistic Director of Live To Dance company. She has performed and taught throughout the United States, Australia, Europe, Canada, Asia and Mexico. Tamara’s own personal struggle with weight and losing 60 lbs is at the heart of her program. Her goal is to provide a total health and well being approach that is sustainable. She loves inspiring others to Start With Happy and discover an enjoyable healthy lifestyle that is maintainable for EVER-AFTER results.
